The station went on the air as KFRZ-FM on 1984-09-17. On 1985-10-01, the station changed its call sign to KSOS, on 1995-06-26 to KLZX-FM, on 1998-03-13 to KUUU, on 1998-05-01 to KRAR, on 2006-09-13 to the current KEGH,[2]
