Kedah-Malay language is the language spoke by Kedahan Malay that reside in the state of Perlis, Kedah, Penang and Perak Utara of Malaysia and Satun province of Thailand. The total speaker of this dialect is about 2.5 millions (first speaker-original Kedahan), 3 millions (second speaker-other races which reside in the mentioned states and province). The local peoples refer to this language as loghat utara (North's dialect-by Malaysian) and pelet Kedah (Kedah's dialect-by Kedahan).
