KE-Munitions

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

K-E Munitions or Kinetic Energy Weapons are designed to impact a target at high velocity. Unlike bullets, which are often pointed, KE projectiles trend towards solid heavy rods. On impact, the momentum of the projectile is transferred to a small target area, often penetrating building materials and vehicle armor.

K-E Munitions are often used against heavily armored targets, because they are more effective than conventional weaponry in penetrating advanced materials.
