KDES 104.7 is an oldies and 1960's/70's rock station in the Palm Springs area and the Coachella Valley of Southern California. It is owned by RR Broadcasting, also the owner of KPSI 920 and KPSI-FM 100.5.

The radio station KDES began in 1957 on the AM dial 1270 kHz, but switched dials in 1975 to AM dial 1010 and finally in 1987 to the AM dial 1450. KDES-FM went on-air in 1963, then adapted the top 40/pop music format in 1975, but switched to the oldies format in 1988 when their sister station KPSI-FM "Power 101" was diversified to include top 40/pop music with dance/urban.

KDES' studio headquarters are in Palm Springs and co-owned KGAM 1450 kHz, a news/talk format station since 1995 when KDES dropped oldies music from the AM dial. KDES' signal covers a 40 mile-radius area, from Beaumont to the Morongo Basin to the Imperial Valley.
