KDAP (1450 AM, "Radio Cristiana") is a radio station licensed to serve Douglas, Arizona, USA. The station is owned by Howard N. Henderson. It airs a Spanish language Christian radio format.[1]

The station was assigned the KDAP call letters by the Federal Communications Commission.[2]

[edit] Ownership

Arizona MultiBank Community Development Corporation, in conjunction with the PPEP Micro-business and Housing Development Corporation in Tucson, provided funding for the purchase of both KDAP and KDAP-FM by Douglas Broadcasting, Inc.[3]

In March 2002, then-owner KASA Radio Hogar was fined $15,000 by the FCC for "failing to properly maintain the antenna" of KDAP.[4] In its filing asking that the fine be reduced, KASA Radio Hogar described KDAP as a "nonprofit organization" but the FCC denied the request noting that the licensee, not the station itself, was responsible for the fines.
