KCR is student radio station on the campus of San Diego State University. It has been broadcast primarily over cable since 1969, when the San Diego area radio frequencies were divided between the United States and Mexico. The station also has a low-power AM transmitter, on 1420 kHz.
It is now also available over the internet using Windows Media Player.
