[edit] Biography

Kenneth "KC" Green is an Oklahoman webcomic author and artist best known for his work with the comic Bee Power (Formerly known as Droop), although he has produced numerous other comics, often simultaneously. In fact Green's prolific nature has earned him something of a legendary status amongst certain circles, as at one point he was updating five hand-drawn, daily or semi-daily strips per week, culminating in an onset of carpal tunnel syndrome which forced him to lower his output, although it is still considerable. Almost all of these strips are readable on his website, rumblo.com.

KC is currently living in Oklahoma and continues to write many comics. He currently has four comics that he updates regularly on his website; they include Horribleville, Bee Power, Anger Pauly, and his newest entry, CRUNK A LYMPICS. CRUNK A LYMPICS is officially over, and is no longer updating because "Every character was boring except the computer virus and he is now a part of droop." KC has also written a 76 page paperback based on one of his older comics, Cat. He has also made several mini-comics that are available through his website, those include The World is yours… But why won’t you share, Just 2 Guys, History Club, Gun Show, Hourly Comic Mini, and Embarrassing: The abortion of my early comics. He has been featured in two Drunk Duck anthologies and his work appears regularly in NON-zine.

He just recently finished his life long dream of completing a 24 hour comic. For the 24 hour comic he used two stories, Cody Jack and Wizard Brothers. KC has been planning Cody Jack for a long time and finally found the 24 hour comic as an opportunity to start the Cody Jack series. Cody Jack is about a mountain man that beats up bears. Wizard bros. is an idea KC got from a friend and is about what their lives would be like if they were not just wizards, but Wizard Brothers. In the Wizard bros. series, KC has switched the personalities of the two characters from the actual personalities of the people the characters are based on.

[edit] Past Projects

KC has an a huge number of old comics that he no longer updates, although some of the main characters from those comics will appear in Droop. Some of his older comics include The Kenneth Show, Unnecessary Eternity, The Chronicles of Stu, Franklin Vs the World, Super happy Rabbit Gang, Sinister and Evil, The (untitled medieval fantasy) Adventure, Bill the Magician, Advice From Mr Longlegs, Jesus and the Man, and CAT! All of these comics have officially ended, although KC recently released a 76 page paperback book for the CAT! comic called Smile Big.

[edit] Current Projects

Bee Power (aka Droop) is one of KC's oldest comics and consists of more than 700 individual comics. KC continues to update Droop on Saturdays. Droop originated as just random thoughts KC would have and he would turn them into comics. Over the years Droop has changed drastically. Droop began as a pencil and paper comic and it took of 380 droops before KC began making them in color. KC now makes most of the Droops using his computer. After a while KC began making Droops in a Monthly theme, such as Ghost Month and Stick-figure Month. At one point KC did what he liked to call the Guestival where he let people send in their own original comics starring droop characters. Every October KC likes to do Crazy Halloween Costume Week, during that week he updates Droop everyday and shows off a new and often Crazy/wacky costume. Recurring characters include Lupin the Wee & Jeeganed, KC, Eternal Soulless Robot, Fire-Hands Eskimo and the Snowman, 2 Guys, Uppercut Ted, Sammy Nickle the Juicy Pickle, Office Party, and Dapper Duck.

Anger Pauly is another one of KC's older comics. It is about an angry entity named Pauly. Anger Pauly is a black and white comic that originated as a bunch of small comics that each contained their own little story that usually ended in a sort of pun or one-liner. Pauly's design has greatly changed over the years, he has become much taller and more detailed. Anger Pauly has now turned into one continuous story with each update telling a new part of the story. The main characters include Pauly, Trevor, Wonderful Mike, Dumps, Pumpkin King, and dead Kangaroo. Anger Pauly is no longer updating for a while, as noted by the final comic in the most recent storyline. However, Green has made it clear that the comic is in an indefinite hiatus. As of 2008, Anger Paul can be found under the "old comics" link, suggesting that the series has officially ended.

Horribleville is one of KC's newer comics and is supposed to be like a weekly autobiography. Horribleville updates every Sunday.

[edit] Future Projects

KC’s next project is a horror spoof that he is working on with a friend and is called Terror Hotel. Terror Hotel revolves around the story of a young tax collector named Loose Cannon who goes to investigate the old Sherrer Hotel, due to a long history of unpaid taxes. His co-worker Stacey Cantbelieveit, who ends up having a hell of a time, secretly follows him. Many strange things take place at Sherrer Hotel, the only problem is that Loose is completely oblivious to it all and Stacey just can’t believe it, nor can she stay out of trouble. Terror Hotel should arrive around late December (2006) or early January (2007).

[edit] Trivia

He is notable for coining the word "Doip" as an expression of moronic or self-effacing surprise.

KC also writes articles for a site called Delirium, so far he has written about Friday the 13 (the film series) and "hectic planet."

KC has another strip, bearing the same name as Bee Power, that he draws for a local magazine, NONzine
