KBJZ-LP (94.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Jazz format and licensed to serve Juneau, Alaska, USA. The station is currently owned by Gastineau Broadcasting Corporation.[1]
It is known for its eccentric programming, including the freestylings of local hip-hop artists under the supervision of The Genius, international underground punk rock presented by local rocker David Conway, and, in the past, Collette Costa's daily 6AM-12PM Morning Madame program. KBJZ also includes a lesser-known weekly program, "Musical Explorations with Lucille and Grandpa," which offers a huge range of music for a variety of musical tastes.[citation needed]
