KBJA (1640 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a Spanish News/Talk format. Licensed to Sandy, Utah, USA, it serves the Salt Lake City area. The station is currently owned by United Broadcasting Company, and features programing from Univision Radio. The station was first known as Radio Unica of Utah, which simulcasted with KHQN 1480. That station served Utah County to the south.
Previously run by David C. Kifuri, and other personalities from Latin America, the station was a pioneer of Spanish talk in the state of Utah.[citation needed]
