Welcome to Wikipedia! I've noticed you making useful contributions; thanks! A small note; it would be useful if you cited the source of information you add. This is useful for future editors of the article, and our readers (see our policies on sourcing). If you're not sure how to do this, please feel free to ask me; I'll be willing to help. [edit] Lothian Buses edits

Hi, thanks for the addition of lots of details, this is just a note to say if this information has come from sources, could you provide them, e.g. photos, web pages, books, or post them on the talk page for someone to add as appropriate. If it is just from memory or personal knowledge, be aware it could be removed as original research, although this rarely happens for uncontroversial information, but having the sources always helps to justify the article and guide the reader to further information. Particularly, with regard to detail added to the Preserved vehicles table, such as fleet numbers and chassis types, when creating it I previously included only information that was readily obvious from the posted references, so again if you have any sources for this info aswell.

Also, see the edit and talk page about readability of the table. As an aside, do you have any info on that Bedford J2 you removed, as to whether it was an Edinburgh vehicle or not? —Preceding unsigned comment added by MickMacNee (talkcontribs) 14:24, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Apologies - I am bad for not citing references, but will try to remember to do so. According to http://www.taybus.co.uk/bedfordufj.html the J2 (UFJ974R) started life as a Royal Navy vehicle (12RN78). It was never an Edinburgh or Lothian vehicle, although it is painted madder and cream in preservation, similar to the Mac's Tours livery. Kbathgate (talk) 12:14, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
