[edit] Article name
I have moved this article from KBAK-TV to KBAK. Consensus on both WP:NC#Broadcasting and Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Television_Stations#Article_names is that the article name should reflect the actual call letters of the TV station. As can be seen here: [1] the call letters for this station are in fact KBAK-TV. Any concerns regarding this topic would be best addressed here: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Television_Stations. —A 09:01, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Past network affiliations
Non-wiki sources say that this was an ABC affiliate from the 70's or early 80's through 1996...Ranma9617 22:24, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Accuracy dispute
The station didn't switch to ABC until the 1970's,please see Talk:KGET-TV for more info...Ranma9617 06:17, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] KBFX-CA merge
low power translators such as KBFX-CA are not considered notable as they provide no unique content only rebroadcasts from the parent station. KBFX-CA should be merged into KBAK-TV--Rtphokie (talk) 00:02, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
KBFX-CA's article should NOT be merged with KBAK's article. KBFX-CA existed as a seperate station before the subchannel of KBAK-DT started. Owner Fisher Communications has applied for a class A digital license for RF channel 22 so KBFX can have it's own high definition digital channel after 2-17-09 (source: a post by a Fisher manager on the AVS Forum). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.247.21.233 (talk) 08:07, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
