[edit] Discussion
Some mistakes I saw at glance "A portion of its territory equal to 370,373 square kilometres (bigger than Germany)" according to CIA book [1] Kazakstan has a 2,717,300 sq km, with this size it would be more bigger than Western Europe, quick look at this map proves it [2] I've corrected it --Oscar Jet 08:22, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Location
I was thinking of adding this portal to the Directory of Portals but I don't know what I should put it under: Europe or Asia? --Boguslavmandzyuk 09:49, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
- This issue is similar to that of Turkey. Most Westerners would say Kazakhstan is part of Asia because of its relationship (politically and geographically) with Russia, but President Nazarbayev has repeatedly stated that Kazakhs are Europeans. I would suggest putting it under both directories, but either one is fine. KazakhPol 18:13, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Borat
Everybody, please keep an eye out for Borat-related edits. He is, of course, a fictional character and does not belong in this portal. Skwee 13:57, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 'Kazakhstani'
Yuriy Melnichenko (born June 5, 1972) is an Kazakhstani wrestler.
What it means? You should write 'kazakh'. This is encyclopedia, not pulp fiction. Please, correct all the arcicles with that word. There're many people are 'kazakhstani'. Im kazakh and I know - it would be best variant. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.218.192.18 (talk) 06:50, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
