Kazan International Airport (Tatar: Qazan Xalıqara Hawalimanı, Russian: Международный аэропорт Казань; IATA: KZN, ICAO: UWKD) is an airport in Tatarstan, Russia, located 25 km southeast of Kazan. It services medium-sized airliners. The terminal area parks 20 aircraft. The concrete runway is built upon an older, dismantled 3500 m runway.
The airport is often called the new airport, but the main terminal is rather old looking. A new modern business class terminal has been build.
A bus runs every hour from the bus terminal in Kazan to the airport. However this service is not available 24 hours a day.
There is also the smaller Kazan-2 Airport close to the city.
