Kaz Cooke

Kaz Cooke (born 1962) is an Australian author and cartoonist. Her books include Real Gorgeous, Up the Duff (also published under different titles outside of Australia), Kidwrangling, Girl Stuff and Living with Crazy Buttocks, which won the 2002 Bookseller/Diagram Prize for Oddest Title of the Year.[1] Her works often cover issues of women's health, body image and self-esteem in an informative yet humorous way. She is the creator of Hermoine the Modern Girl, a cartoon character which features in her books and cartoons.

Cooke has appeared as a columnist for various Australian publications, including The Age newspaper, over the last decade or more. She has also co-hosted a radio program on the Austereo network, Foxy Ladies, with comedian Judith Lucy.

Cooke has also filled in for Richard Stubbs on 774 ABC Melbourne.
