Thanks for uploading Image:MakeMeWannaScream.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. [edit] Contesting Speedy Deletion

Hi,

I have read and understood the criteria. I believe Kay.K.BayZ meets the criteria.

Kay.K.BayZ is the producer, songwriter and lyricist of the 6hr Sundae album which climbed up the charts in Istanbul, Turkey this year. Two songs from the album featured in the Top 10 on two radio stations and a television channel, namely Dream TV.

He is also a lead singer and drummer in the band. They have released two video clips and are on the verge of releasing a third. They have also had many TV, Radio and Magazine interviews (Billboard, Blue Jean etc...), all of which were spoken by Kay.K. They are popular in Turkey. You can see the interviews and clips at:

  • I've read the article. It looks like the band 6hr Sundae might be notable, if you can find reliable independent sources (the band's own site and YouTube are not reliable independent sources} to support your claims of notability. KayK, however, does not appear to be notable; there was nothing in the article to indicate that his album has in fact become successful. Instead, there are just unsourced predictions like the album "is expected to take the world by storm." That kind of language is also promotional, in violation of WP:SPAM and WP:NPOV. Hmm. I know we can't remove them from the Google index where they will remain until the next crawl. Though we could always remove them from the archive page from which they have been indexed: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:WebHamster/Archive_2 I didn't want to do it myself because it asks not to at the top of the page. But for people who don't understand the Wiki terminology (ie "Speedy Delete") it reflects poorly on our business. Can we please take the required measures to fix this?
