Kaylee is a given name, a combination of the names Kay and Lee. Kay is an English short form of the name Katherine, while Lee means "pasture" in English. Alternately it is sometimes considered as an Anglicized version of the Irish Gaelic céilidh, a type of social dance or party in Ireland and Scotland.
