Elazığ Karakoçan İlçesi Beroj Köyü'nün mensuplarına ait soyadıdır. Male "Kawa" (Kağe) soyundan gelen köylülere Kaygun soyadı T.C Soyadı Kanunu'ndan sonra verilmiştir.
