Kay O'Hara is a Canadian pinup glamour model, born and currently residing in Toronto, ON. Kay has received numerous awards for her interpretation of pinup glamour, including the Rodderboy Pinup of the Year award [1], Java's Cheesecake Queen Title[2] and the Miss Fits Pinup of the Year award.
A pin-up girl, Kay is muse for a number of internationally acclaimed contemporary and pinup artists, including Jack Henslee [3], Kim Harlow [4], Lorenzo DiMauro [5], Monte Moore, and Jessica Dougherty [6] to name a few. Kay's classic pinup images are frequently seen in print and calendars, most recently, Kay is featured as the Miss April, Miss May, Miss September, and Miss October Pinup in the 12 month calendar project for the Eidos Battlestations: Midway PC and Xbox game [7], original artwork by Jessica Dougherty. Kay was also chosen as the firt "Bachelor Pad Beauty" Centerfold featured in the premiere edition of Bachelor Pad Magazine [8] the new digest of Atomic Age Culture. Kay makes numerous appearances throughout North America in support of the Retro community, most recently, she was a featured guest performer at The New York Burlesque Festival [9], New York, NY singing Happy Birthday Mr. President.
Kay contributes to a number of industry articles related to pinup glamour, such as Sex Kitten ~ The Allure of Stockings [10]. Kay's most recent magazine cover is Car Kulture Deluxe Issue #20 [11].
Kay O'Hara is an avid supporter of Canadian and U.S. troops with a website, For the Boys [12] , dedicated to supporting and boosting troop morale. Kay has been awarded the Joint Forces Special Command Pinup of the Year award, and most recently may been seen as the Centerfold in the hard cover book "Pinups for Troops" and independent project by the creators of pinupsfortroops.com [13] for shipment overseas to troops on active duty.
Kay is officially sponsored by the very popular U.S.-based, premiere stocking and lingerie manufacturer, Secrets in Lace [14] as well as Sheer Miracle [15] premium mineral make-up manufacturers.
Kay is a published author in the genre of romantic fiction, her latest work is Spanish Coffee - a romance novel [16] and has been recently awarded status as "Poet Fellow for 2007" for her literary writings.
