Kay Duncan was an in-vision continuity announcer and newsreader on Grampian TV in the 1980's and early 1990's. Her actual name is Lesley McKay. She is now a Drama Teacher at Portlethen Academy in Aberdeenshire.

In 2007/8, for the twentieth anniversary of Portlethen Academy, a group of students are producing an animated film revolving around a character based on Kay Duncan named Fay Pumpkin's fictional return to STV. It will be voiced by the students and contain several members of school staff as characters, disgusing the identity using altered versions of their names.
