Kawauchi, Ehime

This article is about the former town in Ehime. Kawauchi is also the name of a town in Aomori, see Kawauchi, Aomori, and the name of a village in Fukushima, see Kawauchi, Fukushima.
Kawauchi (川内町 Kawauchi-chō?) was a town located in Onsen District, Ehime, Japan. On September 21, 2004 the town merged with Shigenobu, Ehime forming the city of Tōon, Ehime and no longer exists as an independent municipality.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 11,159 and a density of 100.66 persons per km². The total area was 110.86 km².
