Kawal

Kawal is a village in Muzaffar Nagar of Uttar Pradesh in northern India. It is located at 29.33° N 77.85° E. It has an average elevation of 232 metres (761 feet). Its population is around 8000. It has many beautiful lakes. There are many temples in the village but there is very famous Jaina Temple. Its structure is grand. Its height is more than 200 feet. It has 5 kg golden top. The village is a heritage site of Sayyid rulers of Delhi. Monuments, like IMAMBADA, of their times are the witness of historical importance of the village.It was named after an ancient scholar who travelled from J&K to Uttar Pradesh. The full name of the scholar was Kawaldeep singh.The scholar was also called Kdso.
