Kavirajamarga is not based on any Sanskrit books, though it have references to a couple of them

Please dont remove cited information. I have read 4 books on this issue and they all concur that parts of Kavirajamarga is "based" on (not translation of) a sanskrit work. Based on simply means "on the same lines as" or "similar" or "inspired by".Dineshkannambadi 13:59, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

It would be useful to provide how voluminous the work is (say like how many pages of text?). References to critical editions of the text also would be a good idea. --Aadal (talk) 18:39, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
