Kavyanjali was an Indian soap opera about the love story of Kavya and Anjali. The two lovers that never meet, the two soul mates that love each other deeply yet they are separated. Kavyanjali (a portmanteau of Kkavya and Anjali) is a term to describe the relationship between the characters of Kkavya Nanda played by Eijaz Khan and his love Anjali played by Natassha, in the popular Indian drama Kavyanjali, which used to air on STAR Plus.

Kavya Nanda (Eijaz Khan), a charming and eligible young man, is the only son of the late Mayank Nanda and his wife, Nitya Nanda (Amrita Singh). He is the sole heir to more than half of the Nanda group of industries.

Kavya is coming back to India after many years and everyone in the close-knit joint family is eagerly awaiting his return. A series of parties and celebrations have been planned to welcome him. And in one such party, Kavya sees a beautiful girl who leaves a lasting impression on his mind.

After this first encounter, he repeatedly sees the same girl in various places, but is not able to speak to her on all occasions. However, her memory haunts him and eventually, he finds himself falling in love with this mysterious woman.

And one day, Kavya witnesses an accident...

After Kavya comes back from foreign during the start of the show,he meets Anjum(Anita Hassanandani) and falls in love with her after several meetings.One day Kavya asks Anjum to meet his family but the story then takes a devastating turn as Anjum dies in the car accident en route to kavya's family.

All kavya is left with is a piece of orange cloth of the dress that anjum was wearing on the day of her accident.He decides to spend his life with it and a maple leaf that anjum had given to him before her death.

But then Kavya's life takes another shocking turn as he comes across Anjali(Anita Hassanandani) who happens to be the twin sister of the deceased Anjum......

After a number of meetings she also finds herself falling in love with Kavya. Eventually they get married after a lot of difficulties and their first son is born, Ved.

The death of the male protagonist Kavya made things worse.

It's been a year since Kavya's death. Anjali has become a stronger person. She is performing Kavya's duties in the family and is looking after the family business as well. It's the perfect match of a modern woman, who is also traditional.

Recently a look a like of Kavya named Soham has entered the program, Anjali had made out to the family that he is Kavya so she can find the murderer of Kavya. Soham seems to be an evil character.

However soon after finding out about Kavya's killer which was Yug. Soham decides to prove to Anjali that the killer is yug. But Yug tries to blame Kavya and Nitya's death on Shaurya but everything is found out by Soham and he brings proof and Yug kills himself.

Soon after that Soham realises that he loves Anjali but so does Shaurya. Anjali also starts to love him and Shaurya sees this in there eyes so when Shaurya and Anjali are about to get married. Shaurya stops the wedding and says bad stuff and accusations about Anjali which does the trick because Soham says out loud Anjali is not and finally he accidentally shouts out that he loves her. Shaurya said he knew as it was his plan to bring out his feelings, with the help of the entire Nanda family. Then Soham and Anjali get married and live happily ever after with the blessings of the family.
