Kavadarci (Macedonian: Кавадарци) is a municipality in southern Republic of Macedonia. Kavadarci is also the name of the town where the municipal seat is found. Kavadarci municipality is part of Vardar statistical region.

The municipality borders Prilep municipality in the west, Čaška municipality and Rosoman municipality in the north, Negotino municipality in the north-east, Demir Kapija municipality and Gevgelija municipality in the east, and Greece in the south.

According to the last National census from 2002 this municipality has 38,741 inhabitants.
Ethnic groups in the municipality include:
- Macedonians = 37,499
- Roma = 679
- Serbs = 218
- Turks = 167
- others.
