Prince Kaulahea Kaohelalani Wilcox born 1986, is the son of Prince Orson Kihapiilani Wilcox of the House of Laanui, a collateral branch of the House of Kamehameha.[1]

He was born September 8, 1986. His mother was his father's first wife, Marilyn Marella Mitchell. His second-cousin Kalokuokamaile III is the current head of the royal house. He has one sister and one brother; Princess Owana Kalokuokamaile and Prince Kahealani Kuuipo Wilcox. He currently is the eldest male of the male-line of the royal house and still retains the family surname of Wilcox while his cousin Kalokuokamaile, surnamed DeGuire, is of a female line of descent. His was named after the Mauian monarchs Kaulahea I and Kaulahea II.

The Wilcox descended from the Wilcox Family of England who were patricians and of noble blood.[citation needed] They are true British offsprings of the Teutonic race mixed with the ancient Roman blood from the time of Julius Caesar.[2]
