The words on the edge of the coin: LAISVAS BUDAMAS, LAISVES NEISSIZADESI (A FREE MAN WILL NEVER GIVE UP FREEDOM)

The designer of the coin is Rimantas Eidejus

Mintage 7,500 pcs Issued 1999 Distribution terminated 2004 Distributed 6,028 pcs

The coin was minted at the state enterprise Lithuanian Mint.
