She has experienced and studied a lot. She's read lots of books, magazines and newspapers. Mad Magazine was a formative influence, especially its movie parodies. She read it avidly from the age of five. She wound up working in advertising right after she graduated with an honors English degree from college, probably the result of her Mad Magazine indulgence. She went to law school for one year. She went to social work school for one year. She studied anthropology and took a class comparing the writers Jim Thompson and Philip K. Dick.

Since December 2006 she has written every day without fail. Maybe even just a page in her journal, maybe a play. Whatever drives her to write, which is generally something she considers apalling and/or absurdly funny. She just published an article on cutting edge research in the Alzheimer's disease field. She writes a blog [1] which ranges in subject from the meltdown of the subprime mortgages, Rudy's record in New York City (she is a native), the removal of habeas corpus and corrupt political strategists. However, she hasn't written in her blog for a while because she has been devoting full time to her freelance career in order to eek out a living. Katiebgood (talk) 10:06, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
