I moved the page from "Katoomba" to "Katoomba, New South Wales" to follow Wikipedia place-name convention. Techelf 11:41, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)

I deleted the paragraph about the Catman and the Yowie man. If anyone can come up with a convincing argument as to why these people should feature on this page, feel free to restore them. BrianFG 06:03, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] non-nuclear households

What is a "non-nuclear household"? Thanks!--203.10.224.60 23:23, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

This article: nuclear family explains the concept. I'm not sure why it was thought necessary to include that phrase, because non-nuclear family groups appear in lots of places. BrianFG 23:42, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Under Climate

According to records over the last 100 years June, July and August maximums in Katoomba are closer to 10C rather than 12 or 13C. I've changed the main page figures to reflect this. It would also be uncommon for Katoomba to record -3C for a minimum although it does happen once or twice a winter. Blackheathsnow - 8 October 2007
