[edit] Notability

The article was tagged with 'notability' on 6 June 2006. Doesn't publication with Salt - one of the most active and prestigious of poetry publishers in the UK constitute notability enough? Stumps 15:22, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

I find it hard to judge her notability in Russian; however her notability in English seems clear enough to me: first book with major publisher, shortlisted for a first collection prize. Any disagreements? Stumps 15:52, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

In Russian Kapovich is welcome as an author in the most notable periodicals including Novy Mir. Her latest book was published by "Novoe Literaturnoe Obozrenie" (New Literary Review) which is also one of the most prestigious of poetry publishers. Dmitry Kuzmin from ru.wiki 21 June 2006

Thanks. In light of the above disucssion, and lack of contrary opinion, I'm going to remove the notability tag from the article. Stumps 12:22, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
