Guru Kunchu Kurup is impossible to understand as written without some context given in this article, in my opinion. As it stands, the article needs to be drastically improved and removing information without context will leave it with only a small stub not worthy of its own article. Why should you want to merg Guru Kunchu Kurup article with Kathakali? If you know more about Guru Kunchu Kurup, please try to expand it, or edit that page ot reflect katakali article.

"It is considered to be one of the oldest dance forms in India." This statement has to be cross checked. Kadhakali infact is a descendant of many old art forms like ramanattom and Krishnanattom. And the present form of Kathakali is not very old.203.200.35.9 17:38, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Things like this: " Mridangam, Chenda and Ilathalam are used in kathakali. The actors never speak. They use gestures instead of dialogues. A lighted nilavilakku (traditional lamp of Hindus) can also be seen which is called Attavilakku. Nalacharitham Attakkatha was written by Unnai varrier is an excellent piece of attakkatha.
