Katy Sexton MBE (born 21 July 1982, Portsmouth, England) is a British swimmer.
One of her most significant achievements was her becoming the first British female swimmer to win gold at the 2003 World Championships in the 200 m backstroke. She also competed in the 100 m and 200 m backstroke at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens for Team GB, and has represented England at the Commonwealth Games in 1998, 2002 and 2006. She was first selected to swim for Britain in 1997.

Sexton trains with Portsmouth Northsea Swimming Club, using HMS Temeraire as a training pool, located in Portsmouth, southern England, with her coach Graham Wardell. She completed runner up in her under 10s 100m race against an all boys school called iona.
