Katy Days Festival is a railroad themed festival held annually during the Memorial Day Weekend in Parsons, Kansas at Forest Park[1]. In 1870 the first Missouri-Kansas-Texas train rolled into a new town in southeast Kansas, that would become Parsons[2], and the railroad would be remembered as the Katy! One-hundred thirty eight years later, Parsons celebrates it's railroad heritage and town history with the Katy Days Festival[3]. Renew old friendships, rekindle memories and enjoy three days of food, fun, entertainment and railroad-related activities.
