Katuutire Kaura (born 3 February 1941 in Ombujondjupa) is the leader of the official opposition of Namibia since 2000. He is president of the Democratic Turnhalle Alliance (DTA), a position he took up in 1998. He became an exile in the United States during the 1970s and taught high school in Upper Nyack, New York.
Kaura attended Long Island University and Columbia University. He ran for president of Namibia in 1999 and 2004, receiving 9.7 percent and 5.2 percent of the vote, respectively.
