Katrin Siska

Katrin Siska (born December 10, 1983 in Tallinn, Estonia) is an Estonian musician and member of the Estonian girl group Vanilla Ninja. Born to a Russian mother Lena and an Estonian father Toomas Siska, Katrin has a younger sister Triin-Ketlin.
Katrin has light-blue eyes and was a member of a choir and had played the piano for three years before the band was formed in 2002. Alongside her musical commitments, Siska is also a student at a vocational school in Tallinn, studying accounting.
Although all three members of Vanilla Ninja have been described as vocalists in press releases, Siska has only once been the main vocalist on a song by the group (on "Klubikuningad", from their self-titled debut album). Many critics have suggested that Katrin's singing ability is the reason that her parts have been so minor, although her past involvement with a choir suggests that this may not be the case. In interviews the group have typically declined to comment when asked about her lack of major roles on any of their three original studio albums.
She is fluent in Estonian, Russian and English.
