Katrin Göring-Eckardt

Katrin Göring-Eckhart (3 May 1966 - ), a German politician, has served as a member of the German Green Party in the Bundestag since 1998.

Born in Friedrichroda in Thuringia as Katrin Dagmar Eckardt, she started political activity in the German Democratic Republic in the late 1980s. She became co-chair of her party caucus in the Bundestag (2002 - 2005).
