Kathy Tingelstad

Kathy Tingelstad is an American politician currently representing district 49B in the Minnesota Legislature as a Republican. She was first elected in 1996.
She serves on several committees: Capital Investment Finance Division; Environment and Natural Resources; Environment and Natural Resources Finance Division; Mental Health Division; Rules and Legislative Administration; Veterans Affairs Division (Vice Chair); Watersheds, Wetlands and Buffers Subcommittee.
She also serves on the Legislative-Citizens Commission on Minnesota Resources as a Co-Chair.
She lives in Andover, Minnesota and holds a B.A. in communications from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
2004: Representative Tingelstad is Elected as Chair of the Legislative Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCMR).
2005: Representative Tingelstad named as Chair of the Governmental Operations and Veteran's Affair's Committee.
2005: Legislative Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCMR) becomes the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources (LCCMR) and Representative Tingelstad is elected as one of the three co-chairs (one from the House, Senate , Citizens).
2007: Representative Tingelstad is named lead-GOP of the Bonding Committee
