Kathryn Thomas (born January, 1979) is an Irish television presenter from Blackbog Road, Carlow in Ireland. Kathryn attended national school in the Green Road, Carlow and began her secondary school years in St. Leo’s College.

In second year, she transferred to boarding school in King’s Hospital Dublin. She studied Arts (English, Sociology and Information Studies) at University College Dublin but left before finishing as she won the contract to present the Children's tv programme Rapid. She also took London Guildhall acting exams to Grade 8. She now resides in Mount Brown, Dublin.

In 2008, Kathryn won the Sony Bravia TV Personality of the Year at the IFTA's (Irish Film & Television Awards) in Dublin, as well as Best Female Presenter at the TV Now Awards.

Romantically she has been linked to Mick Lally and Mark Noble, however the "handsome" Garda Enda Waters is the lucky catch for Ms Thomas.

She is currently best known for her work on the Frontier Films television series No Frontiers. Kathryn is also well known for starring in Eircom's broadband advertisements on Irish television. Adventurous Kathryn is willing to take on any challenge that producers set for her, which have in the past included boomeranging in Australia, bungee jumping in New Zealand, and American football in the States.

Presented by Kathryn and with a regular stream of celebrity guests, No Frontiers gives in depth reports on some of the most spectacular places around the globe.
