Kathmandu Engineering College (KEC) was established in the year 1998, with a view to generate Quality Skilled manpower in the field of Engineering. Architecture within the Country. KEC runs on the collective efforts of group of Nepalese Educationist who have dedicated their lives for the development of Education System in Nepal.
KEC is affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU). KEC believes in not only imparting a high level of Engineering Education but creating a competitive as well as friendly learning environment in the college. KEC is supported by competent teaching and Administrative staffs.
KEC is situated at Kalimati, the heart of the City with a land area of more than 30 ropanies.

The college is not committed to provide quality education at a reasonable cost. It’s objective is to produce qualified and competent graduate engineers needed to meet the national aspirations and goals. It is expected that by the end of their successful career oriented study at the college, the graduates will have developed skills and innovative ideas in their respective fields. They will, at the same time, have developed high moral and professional ethics.
