Kathleen L. Casey is a Republican commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. She was sworn in on July 17, 2006 and her term expires in 2011. Born in Tripoli, Libya, she received a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law in 1993 and a B.A. in International Politics from Pennsylvania State University in 1988.
