Kathleen Herles

Kathleen Herles (born January 1, 1991) is an American voice actress, best known for the voice of Dora in Dora the Explorer.

Herles was born in Queens, New York City to Peruvian parents. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, guitar, and voice acting. As of writing she takes piano lessons. She was discovered by talent manager Shirley Grant of Shirley Grant Management at a talent and modeling convention when she was 6 years old.

As of September 2007, Herles is a senior at Deer Park High School in Deer Park, New York, where she is active in musical theater. In March 2006, Herles performed as Aunt Em in the Deer Park High School's production of "The Wiz".

Herles is also a self-proclaimed Pentecostal who performed at the UPCI National Youth Congress 2007 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
