Kathleen Hennessey

Kathleen Hennessey (also credited as Kathleen Gail Hennessey and Kat Hennessey) is a musical theatre performer currently portraying the role of Elphaba, in the musical Wicked at Universal Studios Japan, in Osaka. Originally from Orange County, California, where she worked for Disneyland and respected regional theatre companies, and went on to perform as a lead singer for Holland America Lines/Stiletto Entertainment. After traveling to nearly 50 countries, in 2007 she relocated to New York City. In 2006/2007, she was notably part of the all star LA Premier of the musical, BEEHIVE, the 60's musical at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood, California, for which she received LADCC and Ovation nominations. She is a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon). Her best friend from childhood is celebrity make-up artist Jessica Hoffman.
