Kathleen Hall Jamieson

Kathleen Hall Jamieson (1946 - ) is an American communications professor. She is the director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center, which runs FactCheck, a nonprofit devoted to examining the factual accuracy of US political campaign advertisements. She is also a professor of Communication and the former Dean of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania.
The author of over 90 academic articles and 15 books, Jamieson is considered one of the country's leading experts on political advertising and campaigns.
