Kathleen A. Blatz (born July 22, 1954 in Minneapolis) is a resident of Bloomington, Minnesota. Blatz is a former member of the Minnesota House of Representatives (1979-94). She was appointed a Hennepin County district court Judge in 1994, associate justice of Minnesota Supreme Court on November 1, 1996, and Chief Justice January 29, 1998. She retired from the court on January 10, 2006, and was succeeded as Chief Justice by Russell A. Anderson. She is a graduate of the Academy of Holy Angels, the University of Minnesota Law School, the University of Minnesota School of Social Work and the University of Notre Dame (B.A.).

She is the daughter of Kay and Jerome Blatz.
