Katerina Georgiadou (Greek: Κατερίνα Γεωργιάδου) is a Greek fashion model who has appeared in numerous fashion magazines and international events. In 2002 she won the title of Miss Hellas (Greek:Miss Ελλάς) at the Miss Star Hellas pageant and went on to represented Miss Greece in the Miss World pageant held in London. The pageant originally was going to be held in Abuja, Nigeria but was moved to London when violence broke out and more than 100 people died in riots provoked by the contest when existing religious tensions between Christians and Muslims erupted.[1] "I think that what happened there was very sad. People should love each other because God is love", Georgiadou told reporters.[2] She was also chosen as a volunteer for the 2004 Summer Olympics. She has taken eight years of classical ballet and gymnastics at the University of Gymnastics in Athens. Currently she is represented by IMAGE MANAGEMENT.
