Catherine Elizabeth Pierson (born 27 April 1948 in Weehawken, New Jersey) is an American vocalist and one of the lead singers and founding members of The B-52's. She also played keyboard and guitar for the band. In The B-52's she performs alongside Cindy Wilson , Fred Schneider , and Keith Strickland. She is openly bisexual and has been in a relationship with Monica Coleman for over 5 years.[1][2][3][4][5]

- The Ramones, in the early 1980s on the song, "Chop Suey", with Cindy Wilson and Debbie Harry.
- Iggy Pop, on the 1990 song "Candy".
- R.E.M., on the songs "Shiny Happy People", "Country Feedback" and "Me in Honey" from the 1991 album Out of Time, and "Fretless" from the 1991 soundtrack Until the End of the World.
