Kat Green is an American Record Producer, Singer/Songwriter, film music supervisor and music publishing Executive in Los Angeles, CA. She is most notable for her work with Universal Music Publishing by bringing the legendary hip hop icon, Chuck D of Public Enemy to their music library and taking production music to the next level. She was the vice president of music production for BMG Production Music and now the vice president for Killer Tracks, a unit of Universal Music Publishing Production Music.
She has worked as a music supervisor as well with projects including National Lampoon's Puck'd starring Jon Bon Jovi.
She co-composed the main title for Disney Channel's hit sitcom, American Dragon: Jake Long. Furthermore, she produced a version of the Apprentice main title "For the Love of Money" with the Backstreet Boys.
Kat is the co-founder with composer/songwriter Billy Lincoln of Bad Ass Music, Inc, a custom scoring and music supervision company. The company has worked on notable projects including She's All That, Pirates of the Caribbean, A Man Apart, Daredevil, The League of Extraordinary Gentleman and commercials for Budweiser and Coca-Cola and has placed songs in many popular television shows such as Felicity, Dawson's Creek, One Tree Hill, Smallville and MTV's Real World and Road Rules with their indie band catalogue, Hella Good Records.
