I really see no reason to delete this image, keeping in mind that I know the author very well and that he has given me permission to use this file on Wikipedia. Maybe the license that I entered is not proper for this kind of permission? Perhaps we can just change the license? Kristifor Kendjelac 17:07, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

If the photographer agrees to release the photo under a free license, such as one of the Creative Commons Licenses "CC-BY" or "CC-BY-SA", it can be kept. But since Wikipedia is a free content encyclopedia and its contents must be reusable (even for commercial purposes!) by others, mere permission for Wikipedia to use the image is not enough! —Angr 10:37, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
OK, I have talked to him and he agrees to put it for free use for everyone. So we can keep it. Please help with changing all these because I am not that proficient with license policies.Kristifor Kendjelac 13:27, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
The best would be the Creative Commons license "CC-BY-2.5" if he wants to be acknowledged as the photographer. The tag to put on the images is then {{cc-by-2.5|NAME}} where you replace NAME with the name of the photographer. That way at least he gets credit for his work. —Angr 13:52, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
