[edit] Wikipe-tan request
Hey Kasuga, I've been a pretty big fan of your work with Wikipe-tan for a while now. Wikipe-tan in the Library and the Library of Babel are by far my favorite works of yours. Anyway, after seeing Gothic Lolita Wikipe-tan, I was wondering if you could make a version of Wikipe-tan for the steampunk page. She would be similar in style to gothic lolita, as steampunk is predominantly influenced by Victorian-era fashion. If you're in need of some inspiration, I'd suggest checking out such works as Steamboy, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Van Helsing. Thanks a ton --Sharkface217 01:32, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] 今日は!魔法少女/魔女っ子の記事
Hello, Kasuga-san!
I will soon be starting a re-haul on the Magical Girls article, which I think we both agree needs a lot of work. (It looks like most of the *good* work on that article was written by you.)
You mentioned in the talk pages that you have several Japanese sources that talk about Magical Girls. I know a little Japanese, but not enough to search for Mahou Shoujo articles with any ease.
Do you think you could share with me some of the information, or at least link to the articles? (I know enough Japanese that with Rikai-chan I could probably stumble through it.) 本当にありがとうございます!--Sailor Titan (talk) 13:04, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Help
First of all, I want to praise you for your great work with graphics. They are amazing! And I'd like to know if you can translate this article for me.Page. I used a software to translate it and I understood something, but it's too confusing for me. If don't bother you, could you please do me this favor? Thanks in advance!
Mizunoryu 大熊猫❤小熊猫 (talk) 02:50, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
- Hello, Mizunoryu. Do you want me to translate the article from English into Japanese? I can translate in a few days if you want so. But if you want to translate into another language (for instance, Portuguese), I can't help you. Because I can understand only Japanese and English languages. --Kasuga (talk) 10:14, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
Sorry! I put the wrong link. I'd like you translate from Japanese to English. This way I can translate it from English to Portuguese. Thanks for the attention!^^Mizunoryu 大熊猫❤小熊猫 (talk) 17:59, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- I am translating the article now in my sandbox. However, it's a little hard for me to translate into proper English although I can understand the content of it. I will keep translating. Feel free to ask me in this section when there is a sentence you can't understand in my translation. And, I'm glad if you rewrite my translation to proper English. --Kasuga (talk) 11:38, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
I understand you, it's hard for me too translate from Portuguese to English. But it's perfect! There are just little things that are incorrect, and if you don't mind I'm gonna fix them. Also, sorry for giving you this trouble. I know japanese people are way 2 busy. Thanks for your kindness! Mizunoryu 大熊猫❤小熊猫 (talk) 16:45, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Girl Scouting in Japan
Greetings Kasuga-san! Would you be willing to create a Wikipe-tan Girl Scout in a round hat like the first little girl in the corner of http://www.girlscout.or.jp/ for Girl Scouts of Japan? (maybe using the three finger sign) Thank you ahead of time, and thank you for your wonderful artwork! Chris (クリス • フィッチ) (talk) 14:14, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Wikipe-tan guignol.svg
Hello, After I have vectorised Image:Sock puppetting.png in SVG, I use it for made Image:Wikipe-tan guignol.svg but I'm not as good in drawing than you. So could you refresh the colour of this picture? I have done this in order to make a mascot for the Wikipedia:Meetup/Lyon. Cordialement, Otourly (talk) 08:48, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, I can't edit your SVG file. Because I don't have a tool that can edit SVG, moreover I don't know of the file format well. But, anyway, I think the image doesn't need to be refreshed. Your image is already nice enough. Go as it is! --Kasuga (talk) 14:12, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for this reply, for making SVG, I use Inkscape, if you wanted to know this, it's a Free software. Thank you for the compliment. Otourly (talk) 16:49, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Grandmother Wikipe-tan
Hi! Could you draw some kind of old lady -Wikipe-tan? Some kind of grandmother, who tells informative stories to her grandchildren. -85.23.122.138 (talk) 11:48, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
- By what purpose will you use the image in Wikipedia? Please give your purpose firstly when you request. Anyway, I think I won't draw your request. Wikipe is still very young so it's too early to be into the teaching side. She should learn more and more. --Kasuga (talk) 18:43, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] wikipe-tan image request
Dear Kasuga-san, i love the ethnic dresses you design for Wikipe-tan, and was wondering if you'll be putting a sari on her anytime soon? --Woodelf 08:46, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] check language
Hi a wikipedian had do this translation :
- (Japanese):このユーザーは、 グラフィックのワークショップから、ウィキのイメージデザイナーです。マップや地図を送信することができます彼の質を向上させるためです。
Could you correct it if there's any mistake? Cordialement, Otourly (talk) 10:43, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, Otourly. Your text seems to have some mistakes, but I have no idea what your text means well. Could you show me the English text? --Kasuga (talk) 17:57, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
-
- Of course! The english text is:
- This user is a Wikigraphist from the Atelier graphique to whom you can propose images or maps to improve.
- Thanks Otourly (talk) 08:13, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- Of course! The english text is:

- Your text can be written in proper Japanese as:
- (Japanese):このユーザーはアトリエグラフィックのイメージデザイナーで、画像や地図の改良を依頼することができます。
- I think "グラフィックのワークショップ" is not the good Japanese term for "Atelier graphique". I couldn't understand what it means at first. You should use the French term (アトリエグラフィック) as it is in katakana, or the English one (グラフィックラボ) in katakana. When you want to use the Japanese translated term, you can use "グラフィック工房" or "画像工房" as "Atelier graphique" ("工房" means "atelier" in Japanese).
- And, you should not put "ウィキの" to "イメージデザイナー". It is not liked in the Japanese Wikipedia community that abbreviating "ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)" as "ウィキ(wiki)". --Kasuga (talk)
- Thanks you very much it's exactly what I expected, Arigato gozaimashita ! Otourly (talk) 11:51, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- I have juste a little question, you have said that the wikipedia's abreviation is not liked in japanese version, so why? Is there a reason? It's might be a cultural's reason? Otourly (talk) 12:37, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- On WWW, there are many wikis other than Wikipedia. When some people used a word "wiki" as "Wikipedia", it brought confusion whether he says Wikipedia or another wiki. As a result, "wiki" is not recommended to be used as "Wikipedia". Many people don't obviously like it although some people often use "wiki" which means "Wikipedia" still now. --Kasuga (talk) 14:33, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipe-Tan
i was just wondering if Wikipe-Tan and her sisters are triplets. So are thay? Samurai Cerberus (talk) 02:15, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- Hmm... I think Wikipe-tan is a little elder than other two. Because Wikipedia started earlier than other projects. However, the exact answer is not understood for even me. Possibly, she may be the youngest. --Kasuga (talk) 10:44, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
OK thanks. :) Samurai Cerberus (talk) 14:11, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipe-tan's blue hair
Please change the color of wikipe tan's hair. it's blue and unrealistic! We are filipinos and we filipinos don't have blue hair! Why do you put anime in the Tambayan Philippines[[1]] page? Punkymonkey987 (talk) 18:18, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sorry if you feel displeased by her hair color. But, it's not I who put her image on the page. You should complain on the discussion page of it if you have dissatisfaction with it. Anyway, no human race has a blue hair on the earth. Why don't you think that her blue hair shows that she is a fictional character? --Kasuga (talk) 22:38, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
-
- C'mon, Punkymonkey. One of the cardinal laws of manga/anime is that any hair color is possible. bibliomaniac15 05:15, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
