[edit] contradiction

This article says he is the 24th, but that list of the 28 Buddhas says he is the 27th. Whichever it is supposed to be, citations really are necessary, per WP:V and WP:RS. โ€” coelacan talk โ€” 03:57, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

The reason for this and other corrections is that there are actually 2 lists, the shorter 1 beginning with Dipankara. Both lists are found in the Buddhavamsa. Peter jackson 15:22, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Yes, there is no definite beginning point for the numbering. There is also a list of "six ancient buddhas", in which Kassapa appears as the 6th.โ€”Nat Krause(Talk!ยทWhat have I done?) 22:09, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
