[edit] Slave labor
Anyone that has the annotated screenplays on hand confirm the bit on the slave labor part because i'm pretty sure it's patently untrue during the writing of ROTJ.
- The Ewoks had no part in the creation of the Death Star II. Originally (in early versions of the screenplay), the Death Star II was going to be built in orbit of Kashyyyk by wookiee labor. It is true that the Empire did use Kashyyyk (or Wookiee Planet C as they called it, which brings up the question, which planets are A and B?). Later in the screenplay development it was moved from Kashyyyk to Endor and instead of wookiees it was ewoks. At this point the slave labor bit was taken out, because ewoks have very little technical knowledge. But it does explain the cultural similarities between the ewoks and wookiees.Atinoda 19:34, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
what's with 42 suns!?
[edit] Strange Distance
Why does this article say Kashyyyk is 37,000,000 LYs away from the Core? "Distance from Core: 37 million light years" You realize that would mean it would be in another Galaxy... Surely this is a mistake, I don't know the actual distance but I'm sure it can't be that far away. Maybe someone meant 37 thousand Light Years? --Hibernian 23:26, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
- User:Snowtroper is a problem vandal in this page, I think. He does that a lot. Deckiller 23:27, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The planet's picture
The Kashyyyk picture is wrong, it represent Dagobah, you can see this mistake in this wiki and in another wikis (wookieepedia) . Both planets have the same picture. I think is needed to find another one. What's With the 12 moons?
[edit] Pronunciation?
I'm watching the Star Wars Holiday Special right now, and when the blockade is put up around the planet, the man on the TV seems to pronounce it "Kazook". Is this the accepted way to say it, or is that later retconned?
- From memory, I believe Samuel L. Jackson's character in Episode III pronounces it "Cash eek". --JovBlackheart 19:54, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
